In 2020, we delivered a mental health awareness campaign on YouTube. We personally invited 30 people from across 9 countries to participate. This included Jason Anker MBE who reflected on his mental health being a causal factor in his tragic fall from height Mental Health Awareness by Red Laces - YouTube
Many people know Danny Sculthorpe as a Rugby League legend. Few people know about the sporting injury which ended his career and the personal tragedy which ensued. Danny now provides advocacy on mental health to a range of workplaces including the construction sector where so many lives are lost to suicide.
Danny is a keen supporter of Red Laces. Likewise, we are proud to support his work with the charity #StateofMindSport to help break the stigma and encourage everyone to find someone to talk to. In many of our videos featuring Danny, he comments that "It's a strength to talk. Not a weakness."
